This standard covers the hot rolled steel sheets and strip used for the structural members of automobiles (herein referred t o as steel sheets and strip).

Remark : Steel sheets and strip include those with mill scale and without mill scale. Acid pickling or shot blasting is employed t o remove mill scale. Characteristics not specified herein shall be as per individual material purchase specifications.
